School Meals
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
The cost of a school dinner is £3.15 per day or £15.75 per week for children in Years 3 – 6.
We offer a lunch club from 11:45pm until 12:45pm for Nursery children. They can bring in their own packed lunch from home or if they wish to have a hot school dinner, they can do so for a charge of £2.75 per day.
Please note that dinner money must be paid in advance – daily, weekly or half termly.
Our school policy states NO MEALS can be taken unless payment has been received.
If you are in receipt of benefits, you may be eligable to receive free school meals. Please visit www.hertsdirect.org and follow the links through services and education to obtain information on free school meals. Please be aware that you are not entitled to free school meals if you do not apply!
Cheques should be made payable to Herts Catering Ltd. All money should be sent in a sealed envelope with the child’s name and class clearly displayed on the front.
Packed Lunches
Some of our pupils suffer from severe food allergies, including nut allergies. We ask that you DO NOT send nut products including peanut butter, Nutella, cashews and pistachios in home packed lunch boxes or as mid-morning snacks as these could cause severe reactions.
